Episode 28: who ordered the burrito
Welcome back to another quarantine episode! This week we talk about the importance of self-care and mental health, especially right now when it can be so easy to feel alone. Remember that there is nothing normal about what we are going through right now, so make sure you are doing what you need to do to take care of yourself!
There is a lot you can do during this time. For example, I’ve realized that I have better days when I take time in the morning to sit outside and drink my coffee. It helps me feel centered and like I am ready to start the day!
I know a lot of people (maybe not us, but others) who have started exercising, even if it’s just going for a walk once a day. Sometimes going outside helps a lot.
Also, staying connected and talking to loved ones can drastically change your mood. Both Georgie and I are not fans of video calls, but both have realized that we feel a lot better when we use them and talk to someone!
Find what works for you and try to stick with it!
